Listen To What All We Can Say!!

I'm glad you decided to come listen to us talk! I think you will find it pretty amazing that parrots can speak as well as we can. No, we are not exceptional, MANY parrots speak this well...some even better! All parrots have the ability to speak; it's just that some love to talk and others choose not to. Every parrot is unique in it's own way. A talker does not make a better bird... maybe a little more entertaining at times. :)

I have a little icon next to each wav so that you can tell which type of bird is doing the talking. As you probably know by now, I am an African Grey, and I have an Eclectus brother, and a Cockatiel brother. :)

Here Simon is saying "What are you doing, but he is saying it in Buddy's voice...only reason I know is because Buddy says "Hi" in the middle of it. LOL!

This one is long... It's Buddy singing a tune that he made up.

I hope that you enjoyed our sound wavs. As you can imagine, it does get quite noisy when we are all talking...and sometimes we even scream just for the sheer joy of being alive. :) If you ever think you might want to have a bird...you need to REALLY think about the noise. This is Buddy screaming...

He does this just to get Mom's attention. He doesn't do it alot, but he does do it every day... so think long and hard before you make the decision of adopting a bird. And if you DO decide that a bird is for you... I truly hope that you will be as blessed as I have. :)
