My Mom and Dad
My mom and dad have been married for 17 years. WOW! My dad's name is Dennis and he works all day as the Plant Manager for a pump company. My mom's name is Sheri and she works all day taking care of me. Yipee!! She loves staying home with me. She was diagnosed with cancer last year so she doesn't get to spend as much time with us as she used to because of the chemo. I keep her company with my constant jabbering. I am even starting to say some words. I have said "Hello", "How are you?" and "I love you!" My mom is so proud of me! She says that I make her eyes twinkle. I hope thats good!
My Brother, Josh
Josh is 16 years old. He got his license in late June and lost it in July for speeding. He got it back in late August and lost it again in October...for speeding again. He's lost it for 4 months this time. He is the computer genius around here. AND he just won 1st place for visual basic programming in a district competition and will be going to state next month. He is pretty excited. He thinks he's as smart as I am, but I have news for him!
My Brother, Coady
Coady is 14 years old. He loves to play soccer! He pretty much plays year round. His dad is the coach of the winter league indoor team. They are doing very well. Great team they have put together. Coady has just started working out lifting weights at the high school. He complained at first since he is still in junior high, but I think he's loving the results. *grin*
My Animal Brothers
Max is my dog brother. He is an 13 year old shih-tsu. He doesn't bother me really. He mostly just lays around and follows Mom everywhere. That gets on my nerves, because I can't follow her everywhere like he can. I can't complain about him though, he only barks when the doorbell rings. He is a real good little dog.
Chance is my new dog brother. He's a big Golden Retriever. It's really funny... he will come up to my cage and try to lick where I've dropped food and I will climb down and try to get him. He gets excited and barks and I bark back at him. Mom cracks up at us when we do this. Tux is my cat brother. He doesn't really mess with me either. You can see in his eyes that he would like to, but I always scare him if he gets too close. All I have to do is puff up real big and lean towards him and he will go a runnin'. He's a scaredy cat if you ask me!Spike is my cockatiel brother. He is pretty cool. He has been teaching me some words. I am getting pretty good at sounding just like him too. Sometimes, Mom can't tell which one of us is talking. Mom got him about a month or two after me. Actually, he is Coady's bird. He paid for him with his own money. Mom and Dad thought it was a good idea, because I would NOT let Coady touch me. It was hurting his feelings. I didn't like hurting Coady's feelings, but he has quick movements and I don't like that. Mom always tells him to slow down around me, but I guess he just has too much energy. Spike does real good with him though.
Spike can say, "Come 'ere", "Pretty Bird", "Spikes a pretty Bird", "HI Spike!", and "Here kitty, kitty, kitty". And he smacks real loud kisses all the time! Dad even thinks he's smarter than me! Humph! I'll show him one of these days. Mom knows better though. She pays me all kinds of attention.
Buddy is my Eclectus brother. He is pretty cool. He is a beautiful green color with red under his wings. He talks a bunch and I have learned a lot of neat phrases from him. He will be 4 years this month. His Hatchday is Feb. 22nd.
